Happy birthday to me :-)
I am so excited that I received my package from Stampin'Up! just in time for my big day because that was my gift to myself :-) I nearly had a nervous breakdown when I got home only to find a note from UPS saying that they missed me and would deliver again the following Monday..... nooooooooo so I made a few calls and just when I thought all was lost a nice lady at the UPS receiving store for our area was kind enough to wait for me (even after closing their doors!) yay!!!
I have my new beautiful big shot and a few other goodies that I can't wait to play with! Have a wonderful weekend :-)

It's raining "blog candy" lol-CLOSED we have our winner :-)
Yep, it is time for some blog candy.....and let me tell I have a lot of goodies to share! I have to part with some of my favorite non-SU! items to make room for all the things on my wish list. I have some great stamps (they are all new except for a couple), ribbon, chipboard embellishments, Sizzix dies, and so much more.
Today I am going to start with the stamps. 3 lucky people will be selected using the random generator online to receive #1, 2, 3
The rules are simple: 1) Follow my blog 2) Post about the blog candy on your blog 3) Leave a message on this post about why you love to stamp :-)
I will select the three winners on Monday after 12:00 noon and if you are one of my wonderful followers you only need to do the last two steps <3 style="text-align: center;">Choice #1 (All about Christmas and Valentine's)

Open House!
I had a really good time at my Open House last weekend and I want to thank everyone who came by to enjoy it with me. A special thank you to my cousin Annelle who came and helped (read "slaved") me to get everything ready for my "pink" open house.
I had a fun make and take project, (forgot to take pictures of everyone's, I will try to make one to post later) cute favors for everyone, door prizes which were all handmade and of course our new fabulous catalog and countless cards and other projects on display.
Remember you can have fun in the comfort of your home with your friends by booking a workshop with me, contact me if you need more information.

Cleaning....
So here we go again! I've decided to clear my scrapping area and make room for all of the new goodies I will be getting from the new SU! catalog and that just means several of my wonderful followers are going to get lucky for the next blog candy give-away! Wait till you see what's in store! This time I will be doing the drawing a little different by picking a number through the random generator several times (over the course of a few days) as opposed to picking all the winning numbers in one drawing. I'll be back with some preview pictures (as soon as I can find my poor phone that I use to take the pics earlier).

Stampin' with the Queen!
My fabulous cousin and recent (my first ever yay!) downline just started a blog at www.stampinwiththequeen.blogspot.com hop on over to her site for a visit and while you're there stay a little and become a follower.
She had her open-house not too long ago and we had such a blast putting her fun and creative make-and-take. Nelle is such a natural stamper and I am truly honored to have her join my team and share this paper crafting passion (read "addiction" lol) with me. Just one more thing on the list of many we've enjoyed through the years. I love you girlie!
Here is a picture of the clever make-and-take from her very first open house:

New Stampin'Up! Catalog
The wait is over and my new catalog is here!!!!! I almost fail down the stairs running to open the door for the UPS delivery guy (which in my opinion took forever---because you know I was checking the site to track the package every hour lol).
Wait until you see the catalog (officially on July 1st!), the new stamps are all so nice, the new colors too...wait and the punches.....the new designer paper....oh Gosh! my wish list is over a mile long! I will be posting a couple of sneak peek projects over the next few days, so stay tuned! TFL <3

Haiti Relief
As you know on January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti and in less than a minute changed our lives forever! Weeks later just thinking about the devastation, the lives of loved ones near and far bring unstoppable tears to my eyes. I love my country with all my heart and it has been really hard seeing the images in the media while being away wanting to be there to help. I am so thankful for the outpouring of support from all over the world and remain hopeful that with our resilience and faith we will rebuild better, stronger and wiser.
Stampin'Up! is also doing their part and it makes me even more proud to be part of such a wonderful company! In addition to preparing 5,000 hygiene kits they are donating $2.00 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set which will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. So you know of course that was the first thing on my list for overdue order. I will take a picture of the first project I make using it to share.
Hug the ones you love and let them know how you feel....tomorrow is not guaranteed. Kisses everyone!
